EMDR Intensive Therapy for Deep, Focused Healing
Get results faster with trauma-focused therapy that meets you where you are — virtually or in-person.
What Is EMDR Intensive Therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps people process trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress.
Unlike traditional weekly therapy, EMDR intensives offer extended sessions (typically 3 to 6 hours over 1–3 days) that allow for deeper, more concentrated healing.
This intensive model can accelerate relief, especially for:
PTSD and complex trauma
Panic attacks and anxiety
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Childhood or attachment wounds
First responders, medical professionals, and caregivers
Who Can Benefit?
You do not need a trauma diagnosis to benefit from this work. Many people use EMDR to gain clarity, improve emotional regulation, and feel more at peace. I offer EMDR Intensives for:
Clients are already working with a therapist
Who want to accelerate healing with adjunct EMDR
Children and teens
Those who have experienced trauma, bullying, anxiety, or behavioral challenges
Adults of all ages
Those who are navigating complex trauma, stress, or major life transitions
Professionals and caregivers
Who needs rapid support without weekly appointments

FAQ
Read this if you have any questions about how EMDR Intensives can offer a focused path forward.
-
Each traumatic event that we target can take 8-12 sessions to completely “clear,” meaning we have gone through all 8 phases of EMDR and you are reporting no disturbance when thinking about that targeted event. Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes each, depending on your insurance coverage.
-
EMDR therapy doesn't require you to dive deep into talking about your distressing experiences or do homework in between sessions. Instead, it helps your brain heal naturally, focusing on unprocessed traumatic memories.
The goal of EMDR therapy is to help your brain process these memories, and many people find that it can be quicker than other types of therapy.

EMDR therapy can be a really nice complement to traditional talk therapy models. I am able to take on clients specifically for EMDR treatment while they continue their traditional talk therapy with their established therapist.
